The minister then led them to a secret room with 100 lockers. Each locker had a number from 1 to 100. The minister explained the rules. Person number 1 would open every locker. Then person number 2 would toggle every second locker. That means if a locker was open, it would be closed, and if it was closed, it would be opened. Then person number 3 would toggle every third locker. Person number 4 would toggle every fourth locker. This continued until person number 100 finished their turn. At first, everyone thought the puzzle would take a long time to solve. But Prince Khoisnam smiled quietly. He already knew which lockers would remain open at the end.
